The three Clallam County commissioners will conduct a hearing on proposed county charter changes during their Tuesday meeting that will begin at 10 a.m.
The Monday work session at 9 a.m. will preview items set for action at the formal meeting Tuesday.

Hearings on recommendations for changes to the county charter: hiring a forester to increase monitoring of the Department of Natural Resources management of trust lands and a requirement to meet all housing needs by creating permanent housing, as well as on the allocation of regional surface transportation block grant program federal funding will begin at 10:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, the commissioners also will consider agreements with the Washington State University Extension Service for education programs, the Clallam Conservation District for a pollution identification and correction grant, and with the Federal Highway Administration for the Spruce Railroad Trail Segment B.
They will consider a letter of support for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe’s traffic proposal in Blyn as well as a raft of budget adjustments.
Association of counties
The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when it meets at noon Monday.
Commissioners with both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.
