This Monday’s program will feature Deb Stinson, an organizer of the upcoming All CountyPicnic, a celebration designed “to inspire and strengthen local neighborhoods throughout Jefferson County” as well as heighten awareness of local emergency resources.
The picnic will be held at H.J. Carroll Park in Chimacum next Sunday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Chamber of Commerce meeting sponsor will be Kitsap Bank. Lunch catered by Subway costs $8.
■ Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are held at 11:45 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at SunLand Golf & Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.
This Tuesday’s program features Andy Stevenson, co-president of the Peninsula Trails Coalition, on “The Olympic Discovery Trail: Fulfilling the Promise.”
Reservations for lunch, which costs $15, must be made by Monday morning, and seats are available for those who are not having lunch. Coffee or tea is $3.

This Tuesday’s speaker will be Dann May, who holds a geology degree from the University of Washington. May — brother of Andrew May, PABA past president and freelance gardening columnist for the Peninsula Daily News — will discuss the geology of the North Olympic Peninsula.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
