PORT TOWNSEND — East Jefferson Fire-Rescue will test applicants for volunteer and volunteer resident firefighter positions Oct. 10.
Testing will be conducted at East Jefferson Fire-Rescue station 1-5, 35 Critter Lane.
Anyone interested must submit a completed application by noon Oct. 4.
The testing includes a written exam, a physical agility test and an interview.
A practice agility exam will be administered to interested applicants Oct. 8.
Applicants who are selected will have the opportunity early next year to attend either EMT classes hosted by the Jefferson County EMS Council or the North Olympic Fire Training Consortium’s spring fire academy.
