LA PUSH — Work crews from Haztech Drilling will begin geotechnical drilling along Mora Road at 7 a.m. Monday, according to a National Park Service press release.
All the work will be performed within the boundaries of Olympic National Park.
Drilling will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Thursday, Feb. 22, although the work may be postponed until the week of Feb. 26 through March 1, if delayed by extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Drivers can expect alternating single lane traffic with delays of less than 10 minutes.
The drilling will provide information that will help plan repairs to the road that are currently scheduled to begin in summer 2026.
