Residents in LaPush and Joyce were without power Thursday night, probably due to heavy winds and rain.
The electricity reportedly went out just before 7 p.m.
The whole LaPush area was in the dark, and an area from Howard Road to Joyce on state Highway 112 was also without power, according to Pencom, the county’s emergency dispatch center.
The National Weather Service reported winds at the Quillayute Airport, east of LaPush, blowing 25-30 mph, with gusts to 50 mph.
