Clallam County seeks volunteers for Conservation Futures board

The Clallam County commissioners have announced five openings for the Conservation Futures Program Advisory Board.

Applications must be received by close of business on Friday, Jan. 22.

This advisory board makes recommendations for conservation futures project funding and long-term plans to the commissioners.

The board is made up of one voting member from each of the respective three county commissioner districts and two at-large members.

Board members serve four-year terms and should have expertise and experience in areas of farming and agriculture, family forestry or natural resource conservation.
