Results of toxicology tests on a Carlsborg couple who were found dead in their home Dec. 9 haven’t been completed.
Clallam County sheriff’s detectives are investigating the deaths of Myron James Wetter, 85, and Marian Lucile Wetter, 84.
Their bodies were found last Tuesday by their housekeeper. Capt. Steve Snover said the couple was last seen by neighbors Dec. 6.
Undersheriff Fred DeFrang said the deaths are being investigated as a double suicide or possible homicide-suicide.
Snover said both of the Wetters were in declining health and indicated they might have wished to die together. Sheriff’s officials said there is no evidence or reason to believe the deaths were caused by someone from outside the home.
The couple lived in the Parkwood Manufactured Housing Community, 261520. Highway 101.
