MARROWSTONE ISLAND — Michael Dawson will present “Biotoxins Affecting Shellfish in Jefferson County” at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Dawson will speak in the Fort Flagler Hospital, 10541 Flagler Road.
Dawson, the water quality manager at Jefferson Public Health, will talk about the biotloxins that affect local clams, mussels, oysters, geoduck and scallops as well as ways that local residents can help to reduce them.
Dawson’s lecture is sponsored by the Friends of Fort Flagler.
