Ballot boxes fill quickly in Clallam County

A sign over the delivery slot warns drive-up voters that one of two official ballot drop-off boxes in front of the Clallam County Courthouse was filled to the top on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020.

Clallam County Undersheriff Ron Cameron said that election officials will be emptying the boxes and deputies will be standing by for security while they do so. He added that full boxes are a sign of voter turnout and not a problem.
