Albert Haller Foundation awards $350,000

The Albert Haller Foundation has approved awards totaling $350,000 to nonprofit organizations in Clallam County.

The United Way of Clallam County facilitates the selection process for the Haller Board, and this year more funds were made available to groups that work with food insecurity.

Awardees were scheduled to speak about their programs during a Zoom award ceremony today.

• American Red Cross — $7,500.

• Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula — two awards totaling $20,000.

• Camp Beausite Northwest — $10,000.

• Clallam County Homeless Outreach — $2,000.

• Clallam County Juvenile & Family Services — $4,500.

• Clallam Mosaic — $10,000.

• Clallam-Jefferson County Pro Bono Lawyers — $6,250.

• Crescent Cooperative Preschool — $4,100.

• Crescent School District — two awards totaling $9,500.

• Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic — $ 10,000.

• Feiro Marine Life Center — $10,000.

• First Step Family Support Center — $10,000.

• Forks Community Food Bank — $12,000.

• Habitat For Humanity Of Clallam County — $8,400.

• Healthy Families of Clallam County — $10,000.

• Joyce Community Education Foundation — $5,500.

• Lutheran Community Services Northwest — $8,000.

• Makah Tribe — $12,000.

• MANNA — $8,000.

• New Hope Food Bank — $12,000.

• North Olympic Regional Veteran’s Housing Network — $7,500.

• Olympic Community Action Programs — $6,000.

• Olympic Nature Experience — $7,500.

• Peninsula Behavioral Health — two awards totaling $10,000.

• Port Angeles Education Foundation — $6,000.

• Port Angeles Food Bank — $12,000.

• Prevention Works! — $6,250.

• Sequim Community Aid — $10,000.

• Sequim Education Foundation — $10,000.

• Sequim Food Bank — $12,000.

• Sequim School District — $10,000.

• Soroptimist International of the Olympic Rain Forest — $5,000.

• St. Matthew Lutheran Church — $10,000.

• St. Vincent de Paul-St. Joseph Conference — $10,000.

• TAFY (The Answer For Youth) — two awards totaling $8,928.

• The Kathleen Sutton Fund — $4,500.

• The Society of St. Vincent de Paul-Queen of Angels Conference — $10,000.

• United Way of Clallam County — $11,000.

• Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County — $9,972.

• Washington’s National Park Fund — $3,600.
