Lights back on after 700 lose power in Clallam County’s Diamond Point area

GARDINER — Approximately 700 Clallam County Public Utility District customers were without power for several hours Sunday evening after vegetation in a power line turned out the lights in the Diamond Point area.

According to PUD spokesman Mike Howe, the outage began just before 4 p.m. Sunday and power was restored by about 6:30 p.m.
