STEAM night slated Wednesday

PORT HADLOCK — The STEAM Night Extravaganza is set for 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The evening of exploration and discovery is at Chimacum Creek Primary School, 313 Ness’ Corner Road.

Students and families will be able to experience a variety of activities blending Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math carefully disguised as fun.

Teachers will be on hand to guide young learners and their families through an array of interactive STEAM stations strategically set up across the campus.

“Our aim is to create an unforgettable evening where learning feels like play — because in these formative years, play is the cornerstone of education,” said Sarah Walker, the principal at Chimacum Creek.
