The promotional poster for “New Moon,” the second movie in the Twilight saga set on the West End and Port Angeles, was released Tuesday.
Just like the first movie, “Twilight,” the sequel has no scenes actually filmed on the North Olympic Peninsula (most of the first film was shot in Oregon; the second on Vancouver Island and in Vancouver city in British Columbia).
The movie will be released in the fall. Meanwhile, the Peninsula Daily News has begun distribution of a map of locations significant to the Twilight saga. The glossy brochure map is available at visitor centers, the two Twilight stores in Forks and Port Angeles and other locales on the North Olympic Peninsula.
