LETTER:Vaccine injuries

In response to the letter “His Accomplishments,” (PDN, June 13) I met the author years ago, when she led a book study about kids’ brain development.

We share a deep love for our community and mutual respect.

The short answer to why some view Biden unfavorably is perspective.

Mine used to be that of a political independent who sometimes voted Democrat, primarily because affordable health care shouldn’t only be for those who have jobs with great benefits.

In 2020, I couldn’t vote for either mainstream candidate.

Democrats’ pandemic policies have harmed people I care about and I’m disturbed by their unwillingness to examine data, engage in scientific discussion, admit errors or respond compassionately.

When a young Washington mom died in 2021 from a vaccine reaction to a mandated shot she didn’t want, there was no course-correction.

They lost me entirely with the bullying of the unvaccinated.

Furthermore, the Missouri v. Biden trial exposed coordinated censorship of true statements which might cause vaccine hesitancy.

People’s lives were ruined, particularly those who suffered severe adverse reactions.

Years later, there’s still censorship and no functioning safety net or research into therapies or safety improvement.

Using these trial documents, five vaccine-injured people and a bereaved dad recently filed the Dressen v. Flaherty lawsuit against the Biden administration for violation of their First Amendment rights.

When the collateral damage of policies are censored, not supported, it’s time for change.
