Several of us on the beach at Ediz Hook watched a whale-watching boat traveling too closely to a pod of orca in Port Angeles Harbor.
The vessel apparently was not following the 2023 regulations setting minimum distances for approaching marine mammals.
Anyone else who sees this sort of behavior, please take pictures or video of them and report them to the U.S.Coast Guard at 360-417-5810.
