LETTER:Thanks Charlie Bush

Sad to see the news about the sudden termination of Sequim City Manager Charlie Bush.

Charlie has served selflessly, transparently and in the best interests of the entire Clallam County community.

His focus has gone beyond the narrow interests and concerns of the city of Sequim in order to benefit multiple agencies struggling to address the pandemic emergency, including my own.

This has benefited our youth in the providing of childcare and education support for kids learning remotely.

Charlie is the definition of collaborative leader; his removal is a loss to more than the city of Sequim.

The reasons for this action remain a mystery, which is unfortunate given the degree of turmoil ongoing in that town’s municipal government.

Charlie: Thank you for your dedication and all your hard work on behalf of all of us.

May you enjoy continued success and realize your dreams. We will miss you.
