First, I would like to thank the community of Joyce for supporting our schools in the past.
The Crescent School District has provided excellent educational, athletic and enrichment opportunities to the students of Crescent School for countless years.
As a parent and community member, we must invest in our youth.
As we approach the upcoming levy election, there are some important points I want to emphasize as you cast your vote.
This is a replacement levy and not a new tax.
The levy supports many important positions such as nurses, counselors, music teachers and additional custodial and maintenance staff.
The levy allows the district to maintain critical student programs and activities.
The levy also funds safety equipment, critical infrastructure and educational technology.
As we carefully evaluate where to allocate our tax dollars, the area with the greatest return on investment continues to be our educational system.
Our future community leaders are born, and the quality of our community begins and ends in schools.
Please join me in supporting continued excellence in our community by bringing essential operating dollars to our schools.
