LETTER:His accomplishments

I am perplexed that President Joe Biden’s approval rating is not higher.

What this president has accomplished, in spite of all the chaos and negativity surrounding our government, is amazing.

The list is extensive.

Highlighting just a few: passed a $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure package; signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act addressing gun violence; made a $369 billion investment in climate change; provided funds for addressing college debt for our kids; cut child poverty in half; imposed a 15 percent minimum corporate tax reform on some of the largest corporations; rejoined the Paris Agreement; gave Medicare the power to negotiate prescription drug prices; created more jobs, 1.6 million, in one year than any other president in history; and I could go on and on.

This is not the complete list, but I hope you get the picture; he actually cares about us ordinary citizens.

Don’t just take my word for it; you can check these out online.

I am also annoyed that his age has been used to discredit him.

I’m also an octogenarian and I am still active, involved and energetic; as he is.

He has demonstrated his strengths over a long period of time, over and over again.

He has experience, wisdom, intelligence, persistence, flexibility, patience and steadiness.

He has more than earned our loyalty and support.

The future of our country needs his leadership more than ever in these turbulent times.
