LETTER:Diversity on Peninsula

I have lived on the Peninsula since the mid-1970s.

I often feel marginalized and offended by how I am treated by local hospitals and other county facilities.

Diversity is here; everyone deserves respect.

We are not all the same faith, nor do we all look conventional.

I have been told that I need to find Jesus when I am being treated at the hospital and I am treated with suspicion by ignorant staff at the grocery store.

Please realize there is diversity on the Peninsula we all love for its beauty.
