Now don’t get me wrong, as a former — and possibly future — user of the William Shore Pool in Port Angeles, I’ve personally seen the benefits this facility can bring to the community.
However, as one of the taxpayers being asked to support a $3,500,000 expansion, I’d like to see some data in order to make an informed decision.
Of the taxpayers of Port Angeles, how many, or what percentage of us use the pool on a regular basis?
Be honest and don’t include those twice-a-year types.
This was probably covered at the pool forum, but since most attendees were probably already supporters, I think the general taxpaying public would benefit from this info.
