LETTER: Thanks NOLS

While many of us are at home and various services and resources are harder to access, I’ve been so glad to have the North Olympic Library System continue to operate online and over the phone for our community.

On top of their previously offered ebooks and online media, they have been providing many programs online including book club meetings and story times.

They provide help over the phone and online for research questions and technology needs, and they provide free and open access to WiFi in their parking lots.

In fact, Forks just got an improved signal thanks to a joint project with the WSU Clallam County Extension Office and the State Library Broadband Office.

My kids were excited to hear that summer reading will start up next month, something to look forward to in these tough times.

Thanks so much to NOLS for your hard work in our community.
