Libby Wennstrom, candidate for Port Townsend City Council, has my vote.
She possesses qualifications that would make her an excellent councilor in a much larger community.
Our small town, which has its share of challenges, will benefit from her nuanced and realistic understanding of our issues.
Her wisdom and her inclusive approach are complemented by her longtime status as a contributing member of our community.
I’ve directly observed her excellent organizational abilities in the context of my membership in the Face Mask Challenge Port Townsend group that she has been leading.
Libby knows how to tap people’s skills, strengths and interests.
She truly has a heart for all our town’s residents and has shared with me workable ideas for housing those of us with low to middle incomes.
Please consider viewing the video of the forum hosted by the AAUW/League of Women voters.
I believe that, like me, you will develop a deep appreciation for the three candidates who shared their views during the forum, and that you will find Libby to be the best qualified.
