What are we going to do about the needs of our students who must attend school at Steven Middle School?
With huge challenges, the staff and teachers at Stevens work hard to create an adequate learning environment.
How do you do that with 30-plus student classrooms?
Kids do not have functioning water fountains and bathrooms.
The temperature in many classrooms cannot be controlled.
I’ve taught there, and the facilities are tough to work in.
I don’t have children attending school in this district.
This Port Angeles School District levy will put stress on my husband and I since we are on fixed incomes.
However, for the kids, we are going to vote yes on this levy.
We can pay for the kids’ needs now or we will pay later for the consequences of our neglect of our children.
