LETTER: Support Warren

I have a family member, a Type 1 diabetic, whose insulin has doubled in price in the last five years.

Another needs to carry an Epipen. Two injectors that cost $94 in 2007 now cost $700, a more than 700 percent increase.

The medicines haven’t changed, only their prices.

The pharmaceutical companies’ greed is out of control, as anyone who has had to pay for a prescription has experienced.

Elizabeth Warren has vowed to address corruption in drug companies and in the health insurers who work so hard to avoid paying claims.

These reforms are essential to addressing the corrupt health care system Americans face.

Her commitment to a Medicare for All Option for people under 18, over 50, or at or below 200 percent of the poverty level is why she’s my preferred candidate for president.

In no other industrialized nation do people go bankrupt because they get sick.

Anyone with questions will find answers at www.elizabethwarren.com.

All her plans, and she has a lot of them, are laid out clearly.

Please join me in supporting this outstanding candidate.
