My husband and I stopped by Cafe Garden on First Street in Port Angeles today and picked up a lovely meal to take home with us.
The owner/manager was so glad to see us.
We eat lunch out regularly at least 2 or 3 times a week, and will continue to patronize our usual restaurants, there are several, here in Port Angeles and in Sequim, and order take-out from them.
I hope others will do the same, and even try new ones.
Some places will even bring the food out to your car.
Our local restaurant owners are our neighbors and friends.
They need our support as a community.
We can help them to stay open and survive.
It’s the least we can do.
