LETTER: Reader supports Lisa Dublin for Clallam County Superior Court

From Port Ludlow

Lisa Dublin has the experience and character that will make her an excellent Superior Court judge.

Lisa’s mother and I are very good friends.

Over 20 years ago, Lisa encouraged her mother to go to law school, and paid for her mother to take a preparatory class with her very first legal pay check.

Lisa’s mother and I met on the first day of class.

We then carpooled four nights a week from Everett to Tacoma to attend Seattle University.

During those long, tiring commutes, we shared a lot about our families.

Over the years, I got to personally know Lisa, and watched her evolve into the strong leader she is today.

Lisa has a brilliant legal mind and is extremely hard-working and thorough.

She is a very sincere, thoughtful, caring, and humble, individual with high morals and ethical standards.

Throughout her career she has risen to positions of leadership.

For the past 10 years Lisa has worked as an administrative law judge in Tacoma at the Office of Administrative Hearings.

The last two years she served as division chief where she supervises 29 other administrative law judges, and seven legal assistants.

Lisa actually supervised her opponent when her opponent worked as a Pro Temp (temporary) Administrative Law Judge in Tacoma.

Lisa has a reputation for fairness, is diligent and thoughtful, but decisive.

Lisa is the kind of person that one is proud to know.

Please vote for Lisa Dublin for Superior Court judge because Clallam deserves the best.
