LETTER: MAT clinic has potential for disaster in Sequim

In response to the letter in the Aug. 25 PDN, in which the writer believes Sequim will be a better place after the medication-assisted treatment clinic is opened, I can only offer this analogy.

If the writer had been Paul Revere on that April evening in 1775, he would have tip-toed quietly through the countryside whispering, “it’s OK, nobody’s coming … go back to sleep.”

This clinic has a very real potential for disaster in our community.

Vonnie Putnam,

Sequim
