LETTER: Malkin’s column is ‘darkness’ associated with hate speech

I would like to comment on the well-written and highly appropriate letter entitled “Replace Malkin” (May 11, PDN).

We must not confuse “free speech” with “hateful speech.”

Free speech is a wonderful right — it is comparable to light.

On the other hand, hateful speech is darkness — it destroys all that is good about freedom, decency and honor.

As the writer correctly states, it alienates.

Remember: light, life and love.

Badly needed qualities at present in our beautiful country.
