I’ve just added another hero to my list after reading the story of Neil Morris.
I wish I could stand next to him with my cane on the corner of Sequim Avenue and Washington Street with a sign supporting Black Lives Matter.
Since I will be 90 years old next month and have health issues, I am not able.
I also like cops.
One of my favorite neighbors is retired law enforcement.
Being white and middle class, I haven’t had the experience of being a minority, but I do have empathy for those who have faced injustice
