LETTER: Hard to believe

I am deeply disturbed about the Sequim City Council’s recent resolution.

It is not the job of the council to take sides in this medical COVID-19 issue.

I do not believe they are qualified to do that.

I was horrified to read that they actually voted to support people who are disregarding the recommendations of doctors and scientists, and even the governor, concerning vaccinations against COVID-19.

This council of ours actually voted to support people who refuse to provide proof of vaccination when dining or drinking indoors.

They might just as well have said, “it’s your right to spread COVID-19 in our city.”

How did we suddenly become a city of divisive leaders who couldn’t care less for the greater good of all residents? This November’s election can’t come too soon.
