Regarding the Oct. 31 “Peninsula Voices,” I would like to respond and make a suggestion to the “Racy Dear Abby” concerned parent.
In my opinion, this issue could be resolved quite simply with two words: “censorship” and “scissors.”
My dear grandmother who raised me (I am 64) encountered this very same issue with Dear Abby columns.
She simply read the content and cut out what she felt was inappropriate for my age.
I believe these very same actions are the same for every generation.
