After reading Pat Buchanan’s op-ed “Cancel White Men….and what’s left?” (June 16) I swiftly made good use of the article.
I cleaned out the kitty-litter box.
I hate to drop a bombshell on poor ol’ Pat but the Nazi swastika flag is also held as a “banner of heroism and honor” to millions world wide, still, even today.
And that Nazi flag — a symbol of hatred, bigotry, racism, Fascist totalitarianism, etc. — is at times seen paired with that very same Confederate flag sad ol’ Pat wants to honor.
Both those flags belong in the museums, lest we forget what this nation stands for and has fought for, “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness” for all people.
