Finally the voice of reason.
Kudos to commissioner Bill Peach for asking the hard questions when it comes to spending our tax dollars.
Regardless of your position on the climate, just because “everyone else is doing it” is not a good reason for Clallam County to follow like sheep into the clouds of data-collection.
Does Facebook ring a bell?
Are there no local people or organizations that can tell us what our carbon footprint is?
Do our commissioners really need the “influence” and “drive” that this company is selling?
We have more to gain with independent thinking than with blindly following databases created and controlled by others. Many municipalities may be using this but, of the 3,142 county governments in the U.S., keep Clallam exceptional.
