With reference to “GOP at war,” and “Protecting speech,” (PDN, Nov. 12): Oh, the irony. We just celebrated Veterans Day and today, we are treated with two anti-American diatribes.
Being born in this country does not automatically make one an American. To be an American, one must ascribe to the principles upon which our country were founded.
These principles do not include putting transgender people in ladies’ restrooms or girls’ locker rooms, the celebration of abortion and atheism, nor the removal of God from the national discourse.
I could go on, but my 250-word limit is coming up.
Modern liberals wear their ideology on their sleeves; that ideology rules their lives, so therefore, they are incapable of being Americans.
I attended church with my wife the other morning. We sang “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
When was the last time any of you have heard that song or “God Bless America” sung in public?
I rest my case.
