Walk-by fiber arts on display in Uptown Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — Several members of Peninsula Fiber Artists are participating in a walk-by exhibit in Uptown Port Townsend through the end of July.

The exhibit, curated by Debra E. Olson, can be viewed in the windows at 675 Tyler St.

All the art in the display, which includes wax prints, sari silk, shibori, raw-edge applique and paintings, had to be 60 inches long and between 16 and 18 inches wide.

In addition to Olson, participating artists include Liisa Fagerlund, Lynn Gilles, Caryl Bryer Fallert-Gentry, Sue Gale, Gail Haines and Erica Iseminger.

Peninsula Fiber Artists meet on the second Wednesday of each month, alternating between the Gardiner Community Center in Sequim and the Northwind Art space at Fort Worden.
