• 2023 BirdFest-BirdQuest Game, sponsored by Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce, is set to run through April 30. Participants are challenged to find and match 15 or more of the 20 bird sculptures from Carmen Maxwell’s Sequim High School ceramic class, to the business where they are hidden, and then vote for their favorite student art piece.

• The Community Chorus of Port Townsend and East Jefferson County will present a tribute to the music of the Broadway stage in two concerts, set for 7 p.m. today and 3 p.m. Sunday.
Performances with a “Let Us Entertain You” theme will be at First Presbyterian Church, 1111 Franklin St. in Port Townsend today and at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 45 Redeemer Way in Chimacum, on Sunday.

• “The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood” will be performed at the Port Angeles High School Performing Arts Center, 304 E. Park Ave., through Sunday. The Port Angeles High School Thespian Society will present the spoof at 7 p.m. tonight and Saturday night and at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for seniors 60 and older, and free to children younger than 10. Tickets can be purchased only at the door with cash or check.
• Corvidae printers guild will present work at the Uptown Dental Clinic, 642 Harrison St. in Port Townsend, through July 6. Admission is free.
• Out Loud Story Slam is planned at Studio Bob at 7 p.m. tonight with a theme of Risky Business. Doors of Studio Bob, upstairs at 118½ E. • Friends of Fort Worden annual meeting from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today will mark the group’s 30th anniversary. The meeting will be in the Commons, 200 Battery Way; the group has not met since 2019.
The party will include a presentation about the seabirds of Admiralty Inlet from Dennis Paulson, who was the director of the University of Puget Sound’s Slater Museum of Natural History for 15 years.
He is also the author of “Exotic Birds, Shorebirds of the Pacific Northwest”, “Shorebirds of North America: The Photographic Guide”, “Birds of the Puget Sound Region: Coast to Cascades” and “Field Guide to the Birds of Washington.”

• The Dying Matters Guild will present “Living with Meaning; Dying at Peace: How Death Informs the Lives We Live” from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The free workshop will be in the Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2333 San Juan Ave.

• Friends of Fort Townsend will hear Cynthia Daily present “Ambassador Owls and Friendly Woodpeckers” at 10 a.m. Saturday during the group’s annual meeting in the Friends’ Barn on Fort Townsend State Park, 1370 Old Fort Townsend Road.
Daily, the director of Discovery Bay Wild Bird Rescue, will be accompanied by several ambassador owls as she discusses the natural history of the owls and woodpeckers that live in the park.
The free gathering is open to all; a Discover Pass is required for parking.
• A genealogy lecture will be offered in person and over Zoom to the Clallam County Genealogical Society at 10 a.m. Saturday. Debbie Smyth will present “DNA Doesn’t Lie, but Needs Help to Find the Truth.”

• Friends of the Jefferson County Library will conduct a book sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The sale will be in the bookmobile garage adjacent to the Jefferson County Library, 620 Cedar Ave.
The sale will feature used books, audiobooks, DVDs and music CDs. All proceeds benefit the library district.
• A surplus sale will be hosted by the North Peninsula Builder’s Association from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. The annual sale will be at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St., Port Angeles.
The sale will feature a selection of new and used building materials, home improvement and gardening supplies. The association will offer a limited pickup service for donations of saleable items; to arrange a drop-off or pickup, call the association at 360-452-8160.
• First Responder Day will be hosted by Cub Scout Troop 4490 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road.
Participating agencies include Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue, Sequim Police Department, Clallam County Sheriff’s Office and the state Department of Natural Resources. Clallam County Fire District 4, from Joyce, also will be on hand with its smoke trailer.
• UFO meeting will present Maurene Morgan speaking about “An estimate of the UFO situation: It’s all about who defines reality” at 1 p.m. Saturday. Morgan will address a meeting of Olympic UFO at the Unity Center of Port Townsend, 3198 San Juan Ave. Morgan is the Washington state director of the Mutual UFO Network.
This is the organization’s first meeting since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic; members plan to continue meeting on the third Saturday of each month. A small donation is requested to help cover the cost of the venue.

• End of life program will be hosted by volunteers with End of Life Washington, who will present “End of Life Ready” from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The free presentation will be in the Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road.
Participants will learn about advance directives, including new dementia directives; choosing a health care agent; and the physician’s orders for life sustaining treatment form.
The second section of the presentation will cover Washington’s Death with Dignity Act and other end-of-life options such as Voluntary Stopping Eating and Drinking.
