Tannahill Weavers to perform in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — The Tannahill Weavers will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 13 in the Palindrome at Eaglemount Cidery, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road, Port Townsend.

Tickets are $25 per person at www.ticketstorm.com/c/17038/rainshadow recording or $30 at the door.

The Tannahill Weavers, who formed in 1968 in Paisley, Scotland, perform traditional Scottish music, from reflective ballads to foot-stomping reels and jigs.

The band’s name was derived from poet Robert Tannahill and the traditional weaving industry in Paisley.

The Weavers’ latest album, “Solstice,” was released in 2024.
