Strait from the Artists Studio tour this weekend

The second annual Strait from the Artists Studio Tour is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Port Angeles, Sequim and Gardiner.

Strait from the Artists Studio Tour is a self-guided tour, free and open to the public, of multiple artist studios and exhibition spaces from along the Strait of Juan de Fuca on the second weekend of November.

Attendees can visit, view and learn directly from the artists about their diverse creative processes and the imaginative community-minded efforts of their work.

The 2023 artists are Christopher Allen of Bottleworks451 Recycled Art, Mary Beth Beuke of West Coast Sea Glass, Renne Emiko Brock of hue are you?, Ross Brown of Owings Brown Studio, Jinx Bryant of Jinx Bryant, Roberta Cooper of Gorgeous Gourds, Diane Fatzinger of Sticks ‘n Stones Designs, Lizbeth Harper of Expressions in Glass, Jennifer Harris of Terra Felta, Deborah Anne Harrison of Deborah Anne Harrison Designs, Brian Knapp of Hide Forge Leather, Gloria Knapp of Gloria Knapp Studio, Anne Milligan of A. Milligan Art Studio & Gallery, Sharman Owings of Owings Brown, Keith Ross of Keith’s Frame of Mind and Jean Wyatt of J Wyatt Art.

“Strait from the Artists Studio Tour is committed to the business of art and how creative enterprise is a respectable pursuit that empowers individuals, validates collaboration and engages whole communities together,” organizers said.

Art will be presented in a variety of forms: mixed media sculptures and assemblages, painting, fiber arts, ceramics, photography, paper art, leathercraft, glass art, pastels, sea glass jewelry, gourds and upcycle art.
