SEQUIM — Soroptimist International of Sequim will present easy ways to improve one’s health, wellness and quality of life at its upcoming semi-annual “Tea with S.H.E.” seminar.

The free seminar will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave. in Sequim.

Monica Dixon will tell how 10 simple tools can change a person’s life.

“You’ve cared for everyone else, now it’s time to take care of you,” is her message.

Dixon is a health psychologist and registered dietitian with more than 35 years of experience in the health field.

She is a national speaker and trainer, an internationally published author and co-founder of the Olympic Peninsula Healthy Community Coalition.

Reservations are not required.

Light refreshments will be served.

“Tea with S.H.E (Soroptimists Helping and Empowering)” is a series of free semi-annual seminars/presentations aimed primarily at issues faced by mature and older women in Sequim and the surrounding areas.

The seminars are open to both women and men of all ages who are interested in the topics presented.

A short question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
