Port Townsend Woodworkers Show calling for entries

PORT TOWNSEND — The Splinter Group is seeking entries for the annual Woodworkers Show to be held Nov. 4-5 at the American Legion Hall in Port Townsend.

Organizers are encouraging makers to create and display work made from locally harvested and processed wood. Submissions are sought from furniture makers, cabinetmakers, instrument makers, turners, carvers, artists and other woodworkers in Port Townsend and adjacent areas.

Entries are due by Sept. 1.

Space is limited. There is anentry fee of $75.

First-time entrants with one to two small pieces — with a display footprint no larger than 30 inches by 30 inches — may select the The Emerging Artist category and have their work displayed in a collective Emerging Artist booth for an entry fee of $15.
