PORT ANGELES — Caroline Fraser, a Peninsula College writer-in-residence, will speak during Studium Generale at 12:35 p.m. Thursday.
The presentation will be in the Little Theater on Peninsula College’s Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.

Fraser has served on the editorial staff of The New Yorker and won a Pulitzer Prize for her biography, “Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder.”
Other presentations in the weekly lecture series will include “Olympic Connect” by Erin Hawkins and Miranda Burger on May 22, “Weaving Together Seven Generations” by Corey Larson and Willie Frank III on May 29, 12th annual Moving Pictures Film Festival on June 5 and an all-day event, “Lifting the Old Ways: Memories of the 1989 Paddle to Seattle and its Legacy,” on June 12.
