Newcomers’ club meets in Sequim

SEQUIM — Vern Frykholm Jr. will address a meeting of the Olympic Newcomers’ Club at 1 p.m. Thursday.

The club will meet in the community room at KSQM Radio, 609 W. Washington St.

This is the club’s first in-person meeting since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Frykholm has portrayed George Washington at more than 450 public appearances since 2012.
