Labor Day Weekend events lined up

A free Labor Day concert will cap this weekend’s offerings on the North Olympic Peninsula.

Black Diamond Junction will present a free concert at 1 p.m. Monday.

The outdoor concert, open to the public and family friendly, will take place in a field at John Wayne’s Rustic Waterfront Resort, 2634 W. Sequim Bay Road.

Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating.

Black Diamond Junction has been voted “Best Live Performance Group” in Clallam County 2016-2021 by Peninsula Daily News readers. The band performs classic hits from the 1960s-2000s.

The free Labor Day weekend concert has become a tradition, as the band partners with the resort each year to celebrate the end of the summer season and say thank you to locals and visitors alike.

Refreshments will be available for sale at the event.
