Easter Egg hunts scheduled this weekend on Peninsula

Easter egg hunts are set across the North Olympic Peninsula on Saturday and Sunday.

Here is the list.

PORT ANGELES

 KONP Easter Egg Hunt — The 44th KONP Easter Egg Hunt is set for 9 a.m. Saturday.

The annual hunt, for children ages 8 years and younger, is at the Clallam County Fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St.

Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m. and participants must bring the registration form with them as there will not be any available at the fairgrounds.

PORT TOWNSEND

 Port Townsend hunt — The oldest continuous Easter egg hunt on the Peninsula is the Port Townsend Elks Lodge hunt, which is scheduled for 8 a.m. Sunday.

The hunt is one of the oldest in the state, according to lodge members.

This is its 92nd year.

It will be at Chetzemoka Park on Jackson Street at Blaine Street in Port Townsend.

Four age groups will hunt for eggs.

 FairWinds — An Easter egg hunt for children ages 4 to 8, with games and prizes, is set for 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at FairWinds Winery, 1984 Hastings Ave. West, Port Townsend.

Admission is free but registration is required at ptegghunt.bpt.me.

Egg seekers should bring their own baskets.

JOYCE

 Kitchens Families Easter Egg Hunt — The 19th will start promptly at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The annual egg hunt, for children ages 10 and younger, is on the playground at Crescent School, 50350 state Highway 112.

The free community event features prizes and eggs.

FORKS

 Elks Easter Egg Hunt — The Forks Elks Lodge will sponsor an Easter egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The hunt is at the softball fields at Tillicum Park, Tillicum Lane.

The free community event features prizes, toys, candy and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

CHIMACUM

 Egg hunt — The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer at 45 Redeemer Way will host an Easter egg hunt Saturday.

The hunt will begin at 11 a.m. at the church.

 Firefighter egg hunt — Quilcene Fire Rescue’s annual Easter egg hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

The event will be at Station 21, 70 Herbert St.

SEQUIM

 Easter egg hunt — The Sequim Elks Lodge will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Children up to 11 years old will be admitted free to the event at the lodge, 143 Port Williams Road.
