PORT ANGELES — Anders Morley will discuss his book “This Land of Ice and Snow: A journey Across the North in Winter” at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

The free Zoom lecture is sponsored by North Olympic Library System.

Morley’s book chronicles his four-month ski trip across northwestern Canada.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Olympic Game Farm opening to the public. The facility operates by driving tours only, although the walking tour areas — petting farm, freshwater aquarium, reptile house, studio barn and observation tower — are slated to open in the summer.
