PORT ANGELES — Port Angeles Community Players is auditioning for its summer production of “Men in Boats” at 7 p.m. May 9 and 2 p.m. May 11.
The auditions are on stage at the Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
The play, directed by Anna Andersen, will run from July 12-28.
Andersen is seeking 10 women ages 18 to 60 or older to perform in the play.
The three-act comedy written by Jacklyn Backhaus is based on journal entries from John Wesley Powell during his 1869 expedition down the Green and Colorado rivers into the Grand Canyon.
Copies of the script are available to view at the North Olympic Library System’s Sequim and Port Angeles branch libraries.
