PORT LUDLOW — The Resort at Port Ludlow has announced that the resort came in fifth place in the Best Pet Friendly Hotel competition hosted by USA Today 10 Best.
BringFido, the world’s leading dog-friendly travel website, teamed up with USA Today 10 Best to nominate 20 pet-friendly hotels in the United States, according to a news release.
Lodging destinations were selected from BringFido’s database of more than 25,000 hotels, bed and breakfasts, vacation rentals, campgrounds and long-term apartments that welcome pets in more than 54 countries.
The award recognizes hotels, inns and bed & breakfasts that achieve superior pet-friendliness ratings from BringFido’s 12 million reviewers.
The resort has received a “perfect” (five out of five bones) rating.
One-third of the guest rooms at the Inn at Port Ludlow are pet-friendly.
Pet guests are welcomed at check-in by having their name placed on the VIP (Very Important Pets) board and given a house-made, all-natural bacon dog treat.
The Resort at Port Ludlow is located in the Master Planned Resort Community of Port Ludlow on the shores of Puget Sound, less than 10 minutes from the Hood Canal Bridge.
