UPDATE: Electrical power restored after outage in Sequim area

UPDATE: Electrical power was restored to all customers by 1:41 p.m. today.

SEQUIM — About 850 Clallam Public Utility customers in the Sequim area have lost electrical power.

The outage in the Happy Valley Road area, extending into Sequim, began at 10:34 a.m. today.

The cause is unknown now, said Mike Howe, PUD spokesman, and he could not estimate when power would be restored.
