JOYCE β€” A single-vehicle wreck on state Highway 112 caused a half-hour power outage affecting 132 Joyce customers Wednesday, Clallam County Public Utility District officials said.

Power was turned off as a precaution while crews pulled a truck from a ditch near Gossett Road west of Joyce, PUD Engineering Manager John Purvis said.

β€œIt was leaning up against a power line,” he said.

Power was restored at 1:55 p.m.

The driver was not injured, said Trooper Russ Winger, State Patrol spokesman.

No other details about the wreck were available.

Single-lane alternating traffic was in effect while the truck was being pulled from the ditch.

The state Department of Transportation said both lanes were clear by 2:24 p.m.
