WEEKEND: Best-selling novelist in Port Angeles to read from latest book tonight

PORT ANGELES — Best-selling novelist Molly Gloss will read from her latest book, Falling from Horses, at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., tonight.

Admission is free to the 7 p.m. reading, while copies of Gloss’ books will be available for purchase and signing.

Falling from Horses is a story about heroes in cinema and in real life, particularly Bud Frazer, a Hollywood stunt rider during the late 1930s, and his friend Lily Shaw, a screenwriter.

Gloss, who lives in Portland, Ore., is also the author of The Jump-Off Creek, The Dazzle of Day and The Hearts of Horses.
